We are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Sagar as the new Superintendent, Facility Services, effective May 13, 2024.
Chris is currently the Manager, Capital & Facilities Renewal Projects at Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board. Before joining Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board in 2022, he was the In House Construction Manager, Project Supervisor - Mechanical/Electrical at the Toronto District School Board for five years. He was previously employed as a Manager at Vanguard Mechanical Inc. and Project Manager, Mechanical Estimator, at Rohre Mechanical.
Chris formerly lived in the Waterloo Region and looks forward to returning to the community to lend his experience and expertise to support student success and well-being.

"Chris brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role and will be a welcomed addition to support our Facility Services team in fostering welcoming learning and work environments for students and staff."
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing basketball and travelling to tropical destinations with his family. You might come across Chris in the outdoors as he is an avid hiker, often venturing out to explore various trails.
We look forward to Chris joining the WRDSB and for the leadership and guidance he will provide the system to support and improve the conditions for student learning and well-being.
