FMPSD Student Wins Aloha International Grand Championship Trophy

In an extraordinary display of skill and dedication, Dave McNeilly Public School Grade 2 student Kreev Shah has brought home the prestigious Aloha Grand Championship Trophy after securing first place in the international competition held in Madrid, Spain. The event, which took place over several days in July, saw young math enthusiasts from around the globe compete in a rigorous series of challenges.

Kreev, a student of Aloha Mental Arithmetic classes at Fort McMurray, scored a perfect 70/70 by answering all 70 questions correctly, a testament to his hard work, passion, and mathematical prowess. His teacher, who recognized his exceptional talent and dedication, selected him to represent their community on the international stage after he excelled in local examinations.

Reflecting on his achievement, Kreev expressed, "I am extremely happy to bring the grand champion trophy [to Fort McMurray]." His joy and pride were evident as he shared his excitement with classmates and teachers alike.
