Eleven educators in the anglophone sector are being recognized with the Minister's Excellence in Education Awards for their outstanding work.
The honours are granted to teachers, principals and early childhood educators who have made significant contributions to the advancement of education in the anglophone sector by showcasing remarkable dedication, leadership, passion and commitment.
"Congratulations to all the winners of the Excellence in Education Awards," said Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Claire Johnson. "Your unwavering dedication, passion and innovation continue to inspire students, colleagues and communities. You are the true champions of learning, and today we celebrate your incredible impact."
The award recipients are:
Anglophone North School District:

- Paula Haché, King Street Elementary School
Anglophone South School District:
- Lynn Hayes, Westfield School
- Katrina Lee, Rothesay Elementary School
- Anne Marie Cusack, Saint Rose School
Anglophone East School District:
- Patty Bass, Frank L. Bowser School
- Jaime Hunter, Birchmount School
- Andrew Colpitts, Riverview High School
Anglophone West School District:
- MacKenzie Bell, Devon Middle School
- Nicole McGillicuddy, Harvey High School
- Brennan Foley, Hubbard Avenue Elementary School
The awards were presented Tuesday during a ceremony in Fredericton.
