Hosted in partnership with Visual Citi, the awards celebrate the best projects in retail merchandising and design from students around the world. This year, the competition reached over 100,000 global WindowsWear members, with thousands submitting their votes for their favourite projects.
Romero's winning entry was Hello Bonita, a fashion brand created as part of her capstone, a culminating project showcasing the skills and knowledge learned over the length of the program. As part of the project, students were tasked with creating a brand and bringing its physical store to life.
Hello Bonita is a concept boutique store offering women an all-in-one experience with fashion, body care and trendy home décor. Romero's project encompassed the design of the store windows, packaging, floor plans, planograms, and both interior and exterior 3D windows, as well as an in-depth look at the design concept, customer profile research and the inspiration behind the dynamic brand.
