The Department of Family Services is now accepting applications for the Rebekah Uqi Williams Scholarship, designed for Nunavummiut pursuing careers in social work, counseling, or psychology.
This scholarship honours the legacy of Rebekah Uqi Williams by supporting the educational goals of future social workers, counsellors, or psychologist. Five (5) grants of up to $10,000 each are available to help dedicated students cover their education expenses.

Students applying for this year's scholarship should submit the following:
- Completed application form
- Acceptance letter or verification of enrolment letter
- Proof of Nunavut residency
Please note the application deadline is November 21, 2025, at 5 p.m. EDT. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
Successful applicants will be notified by December 5, 2025.
