Carlton Trail College Celebrates 2026 Graduates in Humboldt and Punnichy

Carlton Trail College marked an important milestone on May 29 and 30, celebrating the achivement of its 2026 graduates with ceremonies in Humboldt and Punnichy. Across both communities, students were recognized for their dedication, perseverance, and success - joining a strong network of alumni spanning more than five deacdes.

In Humboldt, the College hosted a year-end ceremony honouring graduates from a range of programs, including Carpentry, Continuing Care Assistant, Industrial Mechanics, Early Childhood Education, Office Administration, Electrician, Welding and Adult 12. The event featured remarks from the Hon. Ken Cheveldayoff, Minister of Advanced Education, and College leadership, along with greetings from community partners, highlighting the important role of collaboration in supporting student success. Meanwhile, the Punnichy celebration brough together students, families, and community members to recognize Adult 12 learners.

Across both events, graduates were honoured not only for academic excellence but also for the commitment required to balance studies with work, family, and other responsibilities. Ceremonies reflected the strength of community partnerships and cultural connection, with traditional blessings and recognition of student achievement and determination, including Indigenous-focused awards. Instructors and College representatives presented certificates while family and friends gathered to celebrate each graduate's accomplishments.

These ceremonies reinforced the College's continued dedication to accessible, community-based education and to preparing learners for in-demand careers across east-central Saskatchewan. From essential skills and adult upgrading to healthcare and skilled trades training, graduates leave equipped to contribute to their communities and regional workforce.

Carlton Trail College extends its congratulations to all 2026 graduates and thanks the families, supporters, partners, and staff who play essential roles in student success.
