The Loran Award, Canada's largest and most comprehensive undergraduate award, is accepting applications until Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, at noon ET. Loran looks beyond grades to find those who demonstrate strength of character, a deep commitment to service, and exceptional leadership potential.
Following a rigorous selection process, up to 36 exceptional students will be selected to become Loran Scholars. The program includes:
- Funding to study at any of our 25 partner universities
- An annual living stipend and a tuition waiver
- Diverse opportunities for experiential learning and leadership development
- One-on-one mentorship program with a business or community leader
- Up to $14K in funding for summer work experiences
- Membership in a lifelong community of values-driven individuals
To be eligible for the Loran Award, a student must:
- Be graduating from high school or CEGEP in 2027. Students who graduated in 2026 and are currently taking a gap year are eligible to apply.
- Present a minimum cumulative average of 88% or an R score of 29 in Quebec
- Hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status
- Born between January 1, 2005 & September 1, 2011.
