In 2018, Mrs. Ferguson stepped away from NGPS to form her own educational services company and join Jigsaw Learning in their work on Collaborative Response. Over the past seven years, she has honed her experience by providing customized support to educators and leaders, promoting and enhancing the WeCollab platform, and leading collaborative endeavours to strengthen educational practices and systems.
"We are pleased to welcome Jennifer back to the NGPS team," shared Superintendent Bird. "She brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role that we know will serve the students and staff at Hilltop well. We look forward to her contributions in the coming year."
Mrs. Ferguson holds a Bachelor of Education Degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Education in Leadership and School Improvement from the University of Alberta.
"I am excited to return to Northern Gateway Public Schools and join the incredible staff at Hilltop Jr/Sr High School and Gateway Academy. Over the past several years, I've had the valuable opportunity to engage with inspiring leaders across diverse settings (including NGPS!). I now look forward to bringing those experiences home to Whitecourt, and contributing to the collaborative culture shared by students, families, staff, and the greater community."
