His focus will be on supporting staff and strengthening connections with students, ensuring their voices are reflected in decision-making and fostering an inclusive, engaging campus environment.
"People are at the heart of everything we do. By working closely with teams across NAIT, we can continue creating the experiences, services and supports that help students succeed both in the classroom and beyond."

Tim Cartmell, Vice-President, Major Projects
Leading transformative projects
Tim Cartmell's appointment comes at a pivotal time as NAIT prepares to move the Advanced Skills Centre (ASC) from design into construction and delivery, following an accelerated project timeline.

As Vice-President, Major Projects, Cartmell will provide executive leadership for the successful delivery of the ASC through construction and opening. He will also lead exploration of opportunities related to NAIT's major land holdings, including the adjacent Blatchford property, helping support the institution's long-term growth and development.
"NAIT is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation. I look forward to using my expertise to help deliver projects that create new opportunities for students, industry and the communities we serve."
