With more than 25 years of management experience and a deep commitment to education, Jean-François L'Heureux strengthens Boréal's presence and the services it provides to Toronto's Francophone community, drawing on strong expertise in both business and the public sector.

Jean-François L'Heureux joins Collège Boréal with more than 25 years of management experience in both the business sector and Ontario's public service. Holding an MBA and a graduate diploma in digital marketing, he has distinguished himself through the rigorous management of complex files related to public policy and community needs.
Before joining Boréal, Jean-François L'Heureux was Manager of the French Language Services Unit at the Office of the Ombudsman of Ontario. In this role, he was responsible for administrative compliance, equity, and respect for the language rights of Francophones across the province.
Deeply involved in Toronto's Francophone community, Jean-François L'Heureux has also actively contributed to the development of French-language education in the region. He served for eight years as a school board trustee with Conseil scolaire Viamonde, including four years as chair. In this capacity, he led major infrastructure and investment projects in schools across Central-Southwestern Ontario.
His community involvement has also included serving on the boards of CHOQ-FM and the Club Canadien de Toronto, as vice-president of the Association des conseils scolaires des écoles publiques de l'Ontario (ACÉPO), and as a member of the TV5 Unis advisory committee.
Mr. L'Heureux will begin his new role leading Boréal Toronto on August 24.
