This announces that John Corbett, Interim City Manager, is no longer employed by the Corporation of The City of Brampton.
Mr. Corbett has been with the City since 1985 and held the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) from October 2012 until his retirement on January 30, 2015. Since his retirement Mr. Corbett returned on a short term basis in the position of Interim City Manager.
The Members of Council on the search committee will continue to work with City staff on the recruitment efforts for a new Chief Administrative Officer.
In the meantime, the role of Chief Administrative Officer will be filled in an acting capacity on a rotational basis.
