At their June 17, 2025 meeting, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board approved a balanced $467 million operating budget and $26.7 million capital budget for 2025-2026. Reflecting six guiding budget pillars and the mission to place Christ at the centre of student learning, the budget prioritizes investments in student and staff mental health, technology (including Grade 9 1:1 devices), special education, and Catholic faith formation. Capital plans include a new Catholic secondary school in Binbrook and a child care expansion at St. Paul CES.
