Eastwood Collegiate Institute (ECI) is proud to officially open its newly renovated Music Rooms in support of the school's renowned Integrated Arts Program. These updated learning spaces mark a major milestone for the ECI community and reflect years of planning, collaboration and commitment from teams across the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB).

The transformation of these rooms represents the successful completion of a multi-year planning and construction process, made possible through the combined efforts of architects, designers, project coordinators, custodial staff, facilities teams, IT services, school administration, audio specialists, construction crews, and supported by the contributions of music teachers, students, WRDSB leadership, and the entire school community.
A special recognition goes to ECI's Visual Arts and Production Technology students, in particular, Liza, whose mural designs now brighten the space. This wouldn't be possible without all the students who volunteer; their creativity, hard work, and enthusiasm played a vital role in making this transition both smooth and memorable.

The completed music facilities are nothing short of spectacular, exceeding expectations and elevating the experience of learning, creating, and performing.
With the ceremonial ribbon now cut, Eastwood's new Music Rooms are officially open and ready to inspire future generations of young artists. These vibrant spaces reflect the power of community collaboration and the WRDSB's ongoing commitment to supporting the arts.
