Memorial University - MUN graduate students are at risk of losing health insurance because of the union's $2M debt

Thousands of graduate students are at risk of losing their access to health and dental insurance, all because the union that represents them has incurred almost $2 million in debt. According to a statement made by Memorial University's Graduate Students' Union, it owes approximately $1.6 million to GreenShield — their insurance provider — and $355,000 to the Canadian Federation of Students.
