RRU and NTUT sign Memorandum of Understanding

Royal Roads University and National Taipei University of Technology are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) designed to foster a friendly relationship through mutual cooperation in teaching and research between the two institutions and promote education collaborations. 

Philip Steenkamp, president and vice-chancellor of Royal Roads and Sea-fue Wang, president of National Taipei University of Technology signed the MOU at an event held at Hatley Castle at RRU's Colwood campus. The agreement sets out a framework to facilitate student and faculty mobility, embark on joint research activities, enhance pathways for credit recognition and promote collaborations with academic programming. 

"We are excited to partner with National Taipei University of Technology to advance innovations with an emphasis on experiential learning," said Steenkamp. "This MOU will provide collaboration opportunities for students and faculty and strengthen relationships with global scholars." 

The formalized partnership with Royal Roads deepens its connections in Taiwan and promises enriching academic and institutional experiences, such as student exchanges, between NTUT and RRU.

"We are pleased to sign this memorandum of understanding with Royal Roads to deepen our research and innovation connections and provide students with collaborative learning opportunities on the world stage," said Wang.

The agreement between RRU and NTUT will be the basis for future collaboration and cooperation. Both institutions are committed to an ongoing partnership as they work towards their common goals.
