On Thursday, September 25, Guidance and Technology teachers participated in an engaging professional development session hosted by UA Local 401.

The event offered valuable perspectives on apprenticeship pathways, particularly within unionized settings.

Educators also learned about the upcoming Welding Development Program an exciting initiative launching this fall for select Grade 12 students in the DCDSB.

The day concluded with a hands-on activity led by Sheet Metal Local 30, providing a practical and interactive experience.
