VETAC, City Council's Advisory Panel on Regreening, is pleased to offer free programming to Greater Sudbury schools for students in grades 4 through 12.
These interactive presentations provide a unique learning experience, exploring the history of industrial impacts on Greater Sudbury and ongoing regreening efforts. They cover important curriculum concepts in a variety of subjects, including science, history, social science and geography.
As part of the programming, students will embark on an educational journey, discovering the science behind local ecosystem restoration and regreening initiatives. Through engaging, hands-on activities, they will explore solutions to industrial degradation and gain first-hand experience about the science of regreening.
