The School of Business was honoured with the Most Engaged Signatory and the Dean's Excellence Award for Institutional Leadership.

"The Conestoga School of Business is deeply honoured to have received two PRME North America Chapter awards," said Dr. Michelle Grimes, executive dean, School of Business, who also took part in a dean's panel discussion at the event moderated by Lily Bi, president and CEO, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

"This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to sustainability and responsible management education. We are proud to be a part of the PRME community and look forward to continuing our efforts in shaping future leaders who are dedicated to safeguarding our planet."

The meeting also featured over 60 papers, panels, posters and workshops, including numerous presentations by Conestoga faculty, employees and a student. Anna Hohenadel, accreditation consultant at the School of Business, has been the secretary of the PRME North America Chapter and played a key role on the conference organizing committee.

Since becoming a PRME signatory in 2020, the School of Business has been named to the PRME Champions cycles for 2023 and 2024-25, launched a carbon literacy micro-credential that has been completed by over 70 faculty, plays an ongoing leadership role in the PRME North America Chapter, and has actively participated in PRME initiatives such as Carbon Literacy Action Day. The college also has a working group that currently includes over 30 faculty interested in advancing PRME in their teaching, research, and engagement practices.

Most recently, the May 2024 edition of the Impactful Five (i5) Viewbook highlights Dr. Rajul Singh's classroom activities to engage students as well as the Open Access Teaching Case Journal at Conestoga.

Conestoga's School of Business provides numerous opportunities and pathways to complete, specialize or expand business education through full- or part-time studies.
