ST. CLAIR COLLEGE
Saints Esports Teams Make History: Championship Qualifiers Across the Board

November 21, 2024

The Saints Esports program is celebrating a monumental achievement as its teams secure top spots in two major North American esports championships. Both the Saints VALORANT Game Changers and the broader varsity esports roster are set to represent St. Clair College on some of the continent's largest competitive stages.

The Saints VALORANT Game Changers are headed to Kansas City to compete in the Aurora Series Collegiate Game Changers North American Championship.

Game Changers is a competition creating new opportunities and exposure for women and other marginalized genders within esports.

In their first competitive season, the Saints Game Changers roster took a flawless regular season record of 5-0 into playoffs where they faced the University of Waterloo in the first round of the double-elimination bracket. Their dominance continued in a decisive 2-0 (13-5, 13-3) series victory to advance to the qualifying round against rival Conestoga College. The momentum continued for the Saints as they ran through the Condors, 2-0 (13-2, 13-9), to punch their ticket to the Championship Finals.

St. Clair College joins Fisher College as the first two teams to qualify for the Championship event. The final two teams in the finals will be determined by the winners of Conestoga College and Siena Heights University along with the University of North Texas and University of Waterloo.

The Aurora Series Collegiate VALORANT North American National Championship takes place from Dec. 7-8 in Kansas City, Missouri at the Hyvee Arena.
