A number of teams from Lethbridge School Division earned medals at the 2025 Southern Alberta Curling Zone Championships, held Feb. 4-5 in Lethbridge.
In girls competition, Lethbridge Collegiate Institute took gold, as the team defeated W.R. Myers in the final. LCI was also 2-0 in pool play.
LCI also placed first in the mixed competition, as Myers settled for silver again. In pool play, LCI finished with a 2-0 record.
In mixed doubles, Chinook was golden, as the Coyotes defeated LCI in the final. Chinook rallied from a 1-2 record in pool play to sweep through the playoffs, with wins over Eagle Butte and County Central.
Medicine Hat took first in the boys category.
