The Capilano University Blues men's soccer team are PACWEST champions after a 2-1 victory over the top-seeded Langara College Falcons on Sunday, October 26, at CapU Squamish.

Tournament No. 3 seed CapU opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time when Andrew Cerqueira headed in his first goal of the season, assisted by captain Tommy Millar. Early in the second half, Millar set up Aydin Ali, whose shot deflected off a Falcons defender and in to give the Blues a 2-0 lead.
The Falcons responded minutes later to make it 2-1, but the Blues' defence anchored by goalkeeper and tournament MVP Graydon Sherle held firm through relentless pressure in the closing stages.
The win marks the Blues' first PACWEST title since 2018. The Blues now advance to the CCAA National Championships, hosted by Collège Champlain-St. Lambert near Montreal, November 5-8.
