College launches new Business Development and Sales Certificate program

Algonquin College is proud to announce the launch of its highly anticipated Business Development and Sales Ontario College Graduate Certificate program. This one-year program is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the dynamic field of business-to-business sales.

The Business Development and Sales program offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the guiding principles of professional selling, complex negotiations and strategies for effective customer relationship management. Students will gain valuable insights into global selling, strategic account management and the increasingly important field of data analytics. With a strong emphasis on the use of big data, learners will develop a highly sought-after skillset that aligns with current industry demands.

The program curriculum ensures a strong foundation by covering essential topics such as financial literacy, business-to-business marketing and effective communication strategies. Additionally, students will explore emerging areas in sales technology and social selling, gaining valuable insights into the latest trends and practices that are shaping the ever-evolving business landscape.

One of the unique features of the Business Development and Sales program is the opportunity for students to pursue the prestigious Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) designation upon completion of the program. This designation further enhances the credibility and marketability of program graduates.
