The new branding for the Mohawk Mountaineers varsity and recreation programs was recently featured in a local news outlet.
The Mohawk College Department of Athletics and Recreation has unveiled a new logo and colour scheme for the post-pandemic era.
Designed to represent Mountaineer pride and a sense of nostalgia, the new "M" logo features a burnt orange colour representing embers and the ever-burning heart of the Mountaineer student athletes.
The steel grey font colour in the logo highlighting "Mountaineers" represents the city of Hamilton.
