FROM MARCH 4 TO 8
International Women's Week 2024 at Vanier College will explore Transforming Boundaries

March 4, 2024

There are many ways that we, as human beings, think about, construct, and use boundaries in our day-to-day lives to protect ourselves from psychological and, often, physical harm. Then there are boundaries that contain us in a collective sense as groups, as cultures, as genders, as communities, as regions, as nations, as hierarchies such that boundaries are reimagined as borders, defining territories that we fight over, frequently with violent methods. Surviving the complexity and complicatedness of the boundaries that surround us requires a transformative approach.

Hence, this year, International Women's Week at Vanier College, running March 4 to 8, 2024, will feature a full program of talks, presentations, workshops and panels running all day, every day from Monday to Friday exploring the theme is Transforming Boundaries.
