Automotive business students at Georgian College will learn on industry-leading software through an innovative and multi-faceted partnership with PBS Systems.
PBS Systems is a 30-year Canadian supplier of dealer management software to automotive dealerships across North America and the Caribbean.

Members of Georgian College, the Automotive Business School of Canada (ABSC) at Georgian, and PBS Systems are expanding their long-time collaboration. PBS Systems will become the official Dealer Management Software provider for ABSC and its students. The partnership will play a significant role in educating future automotive industry leaders.
"This agreement provides software licenses and expert instruction on a system many students will use when they graduate - they'll hit the ground running," said Jason Dale, Executive Director of Georgian's Automotive Business School of Canada (ABSC). "PBS will also fund scholarships and continue to sponsor the Georgian College Auto Show and other events. We're very pleased this newest collaboration in our long-standing relationship will contribute to the unrivaled student experience at Georgian."
As an established industry partner, PBS is a dedicated employer of Georgian graduates, and its leaders serve on program advisory committees to ensure curriculum is relevant to ever-evolving industry needs.
"My collective experience at Georgian College - ABSC was foundational to my career in the automotive industry and dealer management systems," said Wesley Pike, Georgian alumnus (class of 1992) and PBS Director of OEM Business. "Everything from the program's co-operative work opportunities to the community network of both industry professionals and lifelong friends I have been fortunate enough to grow and foster, have positively shaped and propelled my 30 years in the car business."
The five-year exclusive agreement provides student access to PBS Systems V10, which is the next generation of management software for all aspects of an automotive dealership, from accounting to sales, parts, customer management and more.
Students will learn on innovative digital tools, including vehicle telematics, Bluelink connectivity, transparent eCommerce vehicle purchasing, mobile app workflow integrations and dashboard analytics.
