COLLÈGE BORÉAL
Défis métiers: an engaging immersion experience for over 250 students at Collège Boréal

March 18, 2025

Défis métiers or "trades challenges" is an immersive activity that gives participants the chance to explore a wide range of trades while discovering the programs offered at Collège Boréal. Through interactive workshops at the Sudbury campus, students took on hands-on challenges related to various professional fields. They assembled an electrical circuit, connected piping, practised their aesthetic skills, demonstrated their forestry knowledge, and much more. This experiential approach gave them a taste of the essential skills and knowledge required in the skilled trades.
