On April 10, the 8th edition of Destination Gourmande brought food lovers together at Mérici Collégial Privé for an evening that combined fine dining and community spirit. Organized by the Mérici Collégial Privé Foundation, this annual event offers tangible support to students throughout their academic journey.
Chaired by Mr. Alain Leblanc, General Manager of the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale and a proud Mérici alumnus, the evening highlighted the strength of the Mérici network and the community's commitment to supporting the next generation. Contributions from Desjardins, the official partner, along with all sponsors and guests, helped turn this evening into a true celebration of solidarity.
Every ticket purchased, every silent auction bid, and every partnership made a meaningful impact. The $45,644 raised for the Mérici Collégial Privé Foundation will be used to award scholarships, support students through their educational paths, and fund various educational projects within Mérici Collégial Privé further strengthening the Foundation's commitment to student success.
Guests were treated to an exceptional menu created by renowned local chefs, including those from Bistro Évolution, Bistro L'Orygine, George V, Groupe Restos Plaisirs, Cercle de la Garnison de Québec, Hilton Québec (CABU), and Delta Hotels by Marriott Québec. A variety of local products were featured, such as fine cheeses from Fromages CDA Inc. and craft beers from Hôtel Roquemont.
