St. Clair College proudly celebrated the achievements of six exceptional graduates at the 32nd annual Alumni of Distinction Awards on Friday, May 2, 2025.
Held in the Alumni Skyline Room at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, the elegant evening brought together more than 300 guests to honour the newest inductees into the College's prestigious alumni circle.

Guests enjoyed a four-course dinner while each honouree shared heartfelt reflections on their personal and professional journeys since graduating from St. Clair. The stories highlighted the diversity of paths taken and the common thread of excellence and perseverance that defines the St. Clair College alumni community.
The evening welcomed a distinguished guest list, including family members, friends, coworkers, past Alumni of Distinction recipients, College staff, Board of Governors members, and community partners. Dignitaries in attendance included Trevor Jones, MPP for Chatham-Kent-Leamington, Windsor City Councillor Renaldo Agostino, and Windsor-Essex Deputy Warden Joe Bachetti, all of whom brought greetings and offered congratulations to the honourees.
"Where Students Start and Go Anywhere" - the College's motto - rang especially true throughout the evening, as each recipient embodied the values of hard work, leadership, and community spirit.

Senior Mentor, FIRST Robotics Windsor-Essex - inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders. - Walter LaPlante (Class of 2009 - Mechanical Engineering Technology - Mechatronics)
Control & Industrial Connectivity Supervisor, Ford Motor Company - Dearborn, Michigan. - Dino Miceli (Class of 1992 - Mold Maker)
President & Owner, Calibur Tool and Mold - a leader in the advanced manufacturing sector. - Paula Reaume-Zimmer (Class of 1994 - Nursing)
President & CEO, Bluewater Health - driving innovation and patient care in Sarnia, Ontario. - Adelina Sisti-DeBlasis (Class of 2011 - Culinary Management)
Red Seal Endorsed Chef and Culinary Teacher, GECDSB - shaping young minds through food and mentorship.
These six outstanding alumni bring the total number of honoured graduates to 143 since the program began in 1992. Their contributions not only enhance their respective industries but also inspire current and future students to pursue their dreams with passion and purpose.
