Fleming College proudly celebrates several students who earned top honours at the 2025 Skills Ontario Competition, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication across multiple skilled trades and technology categories.
This annual competition brings together the province's most skilled secondary and post-secondary students to compete in a range of hands-on challenges. This year, Fleming students brought home an impressive seven medals five gold and two bronze, affirming the College's commitment to excellence in applied learning.
Gold medal winners:
- Shane Loranger - Welding
- Paul Grosse - Restaurant Service
- Aeden Ball - Cybersecurity
- Liam Deneve - Arborist
- Dylan Waddell - Carpentry
Bronze medal winners:
- Gavin O'Rourke - Carpentry
- Cory Hughes - Heating Systems Technician

In addition to student success, Fleming College received the Best Large Booth award at the Skills Ontario Competition, acknowledging the college's creativity, enthusiasm, and presentation.
