Mohawk College skilled trades and technology students excelled in the Skills Ontario 2025 post-secondary skilled trades competition earlier this week, collecting 11 medals.
The Skills Ontario Competition offers a unique opportunity for top students from colleges across the province to demonstrate their mastery of their skills in their field. Some winners also have the opportunity to compete in the national Skills Canada competition, which will be hosted in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 29 - 30.
This year, the Mohawk College team included 51 competitors in 26 different competitions. Thirteen competitors took home a total of 11 medals, including nine individual and two team medals.
