George Brown College (GBC) will be right at the heart of the action as up to 250,000 people head to the eastern waterfront for Toronto's 2025 Waterfront Festival, which includes a fleet of six historic tall ships.
As an official festival partner, the George Brown Stage at Waterfront Campus will serve as the entertainment hub for the event June 28-29. Our mascot Helder the Husky will be there with friends from the Office of the Registrar to chat with tall-ship enthusiasts and future students. The college will also host food and vendor stations come for the sea shanties, stay for the GBC hospitality, snacks and swag!
"We're thrilled to partner with the Toronto Waterfront Festival and welcome the majestic Tall Ships to our city's shores," said Ryan Sargent, GBC's Director of College Business Services and Procurement. "As a downtown college deeply connected to Toronto's cultural and creative energy, George Brown is proud to be part of this celebration of community, history, and innovation."
