Cambrian College hosts Fall Open House

Cambrian College is getting ready for one of its busiest days of the year and you are invited.

Cambrian's annual Fall Open House is set for Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its main Barry Downe campus in Greater Sudbury.

"Open House is quite a tradition and truly our Fall Classic', with our incredible crew of faculty, staff and student ambassadors ready to show everything Cambrian has to offer - from the classroom to the full campus experience," explains Renee Scott, Cambrian's Director of Marketing, Recruitment, and Student Success. "We are so excited for potential students and their families to experience Cambrian for the day, in particular our warm, vibrant, and inclusive campus culture that is at the heart of who we are as a college."

Events at the 2025 Fall Open House include:

• Tours

Join a member of the recruitment team for a tour of our classes, labs, services, and student spaces, including Student Residence.

• Academic program information

Meet our academic team, get your questions answered, and learn more about Cambrian's programs, including degree-level programs.

• Free Application Station

Visit the application station, apply on the spot, and Cambrian will cover the application fee.

• Student services booths

Explore the various campus services that will be available to you as a student. Visit each student services booth for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card!

• Swag and free food

If you have already received an offer for a Cambrian program that starts between January and July of 2026, be sure to pick up your free Cambrian-branded Under Armour backpack.  Enjoy the free food at Fall Open House.

• Prizes!

Enter the draws for a Traeger grill and smoker, a firepit built by Cambrian College students, or a $1,000 scholarship! There is also an early-bird prize of a $100 Amazon gift card if you pre-register for Fall Open House by November 3.

• Gas card for out-of-town guests

If you are coming to Fall Open House from out-of-town, you could be eligible for a $50 gas card. Register online by November 3.
