Canadore College proudly announces the publication of a new interprofessional education (IPE) research article co-authored by Canadore faculty in the Journal of Interprofessional Education & Practice.
The open-access study, "Canadian interprofessional education: Publicly available information and educator perspectives," presents the first national environmental scan of IPE programming at Canadian post-secondary institutions.
The research, conducted alongside colleagues from Cape Breton University, McMaster, Brock, Toronto, and others, identified 102 colleges and universities offering IPE programs, courses, or workshops and explored variations in curriculum design, pedagogy, and collaboration across professions.
Findings highlight strengths in national IPE frameworks and opportunities to strengthen collaborative skill development and inclusive curriculum design across health and social service education.
