Fanshawe College is inviting prospective students and their families to experience campus life first-hand by touring classrooms, labs and student spaces during Open House on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event offers visitors the chance to meet faculty, staff and current students while exploring a variety of program areas across Fanshawe's campuses, attending live information sessions and learning about career pathways, admissions and financial supports.
Visitors will also be able to connect with service teams at the Here for You Student Services Showcase in the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre to learn about the many supports available to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. While there, prospective students can also receive help with their application or confirm their offer of admission.
"Open House is one of the best ways for students and families to understand what makes the Fanshawe experience unique," says Anne Hamilton, manager of recruitment at Fanshawe College. "When visitors walk through our labs, talk with faculty and hear directly from students, they can start to see how their education connects to real careers and opportunities in our community."
Attendees will be able to explore facilities including the three-floor Student Wellness Centre, Innovation Village and other learning and social spaces across campus. Residence tours will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those looking to make London Campus home during their studies.
The College invites future Falcons to visit https://openhouse.fanshawec.ca for more information and to register for a chance to win $5,000 in tuition credit.
