St. Lawrence College hosted its annual Surge Awards on Friday, March 27 at the Kingston campus, recognizing student-athletes across all varsity programs for their performance and contributions during the 2025-26 season. The night also featured special acknowledgement for student staff, provincial and national recognitions, team awards for varsity basketball, rugby, soccer, and volleyball, and was capped off by a series of major awards.

The evening included remarks from Kevin Biggs, Manager of Athletics and Student Engagement and Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. For the first time in event history, a graduating student-athlete was invited to address the room. Logan De Verteuil, who completed five years with the SLC men's rugby program while also working as a student-staff member in the Athletics Department and volunteering in various college activities, spoke about his experience as a student-athlete.
