Mohawk College has been recognized with the Large Employer Award at the Burlington Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Gala, held on May 13.
Presented annually by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, the Business Excellence Awards celebrate organizations and leaders making significant contributions to Burlington's economy and community. This year's gala recognized 73 finalists across eight award categories, highlighting the strength and diversity of the city's business community.
The Large Employer Award recognizes Mohawk College's ongoing commitment to workforce development and community partnership in the Burlington region.
"This award represents our ongoing commitment to meeting the workforce development needs of the Burlington region, and we look forward to strengthening our connection to the city in the coming years," said Mohawk College President, Paul Armstrong.
