Georgian College is excited to announce a $1.25 million contribution from GuardMe International Insurance in support of the college's new Student Success and Care Centre at the Barrie Campus, helping to create a welcoming, inclusive, and future-ready space that supports student well-being and success.

A longstanding partner of Georgian, GuardMe has made significant investments in student success over the years, demonstrating a shared commitment to supporting student well-being, accessibility, and positive learning experiences. In recognition of this latest contribution, Georgian is honouring GuardMe through the naming of the new centre.
The new centre reflects Georgian's commitment to creating an environment where every learner feels seen, supported and empowered to grow. Through personalized services, caring support systems and opportunities to connect and thrive, the centre helps students build the confidence, skills, and sense of belonging needed to succeed academically, personally and professionally.
The new space reflects the diverse needs of students and community members through inclusive and thoughtful design, while bringing together academic, emotional, social, and professional supports under one roof. The centre also recognizes that wellness, care, and personal growth are essential components of student success and long-term achievement beyond graduation.
