Provincial Government Announces Appointments to College of North Atlantic's Board of Governors

The Honourable Paul Dinn, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills, has announced the appointment of a chairperson for the College of the North Atlantic's Board of Governors and six additional members.

Glenn Normore is appointed chairperson of the Board of Governors.

Glenn Normore and Donna Rideout will serve as joint representatives, sitting on both Memorial University's Board of Regents and the College of the North Atlantic's Board of Governors. These joint roles support enhanced collaboration between the province's public post-secondary institutions.

Heather Craniford has been appointed as a representative of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

The other general members, appointed for three-year terms, are:

  • Patrick Lafreniere
  • Christian Hurley
  • Renita Dominaux
  • Ann Marie Hodder

College of the North Atlantic's Board of Governors is the corporate body responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of the college. The Board of Governors works closely with College of North Atlantic's president and chief executive officer, who is responsible for the leadership of staff, faculty, and other stakeholders to deliver post-secondary educational training in Newfoundland and Labrador and internationally.
