The Ambrose University Athletics Department is happy to announce that alumna Jordan (Denham) Dyck will be reuniting with the Lions' family as Assistant Coach of the Women's Volleyball Team.
We're also proud to share that Jordan has been awarded a coaching grant through the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association. She is one of 15 recipients across the country to receive support from the CCAA's Female Apprentice Coaching Program.
Here at Ambrose, the Lions are thrilled to have Jordan back in the pride. She was a key member of the women's volleyball team during her time as a student, having been named the team's Most Inspirational Player once, Most Valuable Player twice, and the Lions Female Athlete of the Year in both 2013 and 2014.
"I am extremely excited to have Jordan Dyck join our coaching staff and be a part of the Female Apprentice Coach Program," says Head Coach Colin Kubinec. "Jordan was a phenomenal leader as an athlete and captain of our team from 2012-15. In her new role, she will bring amazing soft skills and both a loving and demanding presence to help push our team to the next level. I am excited to see her transition from player to coach. I would also to like to thank the CCAA for this program and its financial support."
Let's pack the Lions' Den full when the volleyball season starts. Go Lions Go!
