SIIT completes 1st rural Auto Service program

On Dec. 16 SIIT celebrated the completion of it's first rural delivery of our Automotive Service (Technician) Prep. program on Big River First Nation. 

The program was a great success, led by an excellent instructor in Darren Cote. The students completed their required work placements at shops in the area. Some students were able to land jobs as a result of their training and hard work.

This program could not have happened without the efforts of the support staff at Big River and Agency Chiefs Tribal Council. SIIT Trades and Industrial has enjoyed a very successful partnership with Big River and is glad to have participated in helping these learners begin their training in the Auto Service trade.
