"We appreciate how important trades, craftspeople and construction managers are to delivering solidly built homes that stand the test of time. For us, this donation is an investment in the future of the construction industry. Our support will simultaneously assist construction students in financial need, and help to ensure that The Daniels Corporation will continue to have access to competent, well-trained employees for years to come."

The ceremony was followed by a brief tour of the Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts and soon to be home to George Brown College's Centre of Innovation.
