Last week 10 teams from Algonquin College took part in the Adobe Creative Jam competition with five other colleges from the Toronto area. Altogether the design competition hosted over 300 students and 70 teams with a few of Algonquin's teams making it to the finals!
Algonquin College took part in the Adobe Creative Jam competition last week with three of its teams making it to the finals.
The College was well represented in the competition with a roster of 50 students and 10 teams from the Graphic Design program and the Mobile Application Development program. Three of Algonquin's teams placed fifth and sixth among other teams competing from Humber, Sheridan, George Brown, Seneca, and Ontario College of Art and Design.
The design jam was focussed on creating a mobile app prototype that promoted academic integrity to students. The event also promoted awareness and support for the use of Algonquin's Adobe Creative Cloud license for all students at the College.
