Kaila Bolton, a recent graduate of Seneca's Documentary & Non-Fiction Media Production graduate certificate program, picked up an award at the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival in Halifax last week.
Ms. Bolton's Queen of Chaos has won Best Atlantic Short Documentary. The 14-minute film about hoarding follows Thérèse Bélisle as she battles with her conflicting needs to both surround herself with things and declutter her apartment.
Ms. Bolton has a background in visual anthropology. Her works are rooted in anthropological research and demonstrate her commitment to an ethnographic style of film.
