The Grouard Campus will be a hub of activity this fall, as Northern Lakes College welcomes the Kapawe'no First Nation K-12 School. Northern Lakes College is maintaining services and programs at the Grouard Campus and is in the process of relocating its classrooms to the western part of the campus in order to accommodate the K-12 school in the eastern wing. Kapawe'no First Nation K-12 School will be utilizing the cafeteria and recreation spaces of the campus.
"Transitioning from high school to college can be a challenge for many students, but students from Kapawe'no First Nation K-12 School will just need to walk down the hall! We are always looking for collaborative ways to increase student participation in post-secondary education," comments Dr. Glenn Mitchell, President & CEO of Northern Lakes College.
Northern Lakes College is committed to providing accessible, community-based learning opportunities and to working collaboratively with the communities it serves.
