The union representing full-time and partial-load academic employees at Ontario's 24 colleges, including George Brown College, has announced its members will go on strike if a deal is not reached with the College Employer Council (CEC) by 12:01 a.m., Friday, March 18.
We remain hopeful that a settlement can still be reached between OPSEU (Ontario Public Service Employees Union) and the CEC, and a strike avoided. Student success continues to be our number one priority.
