The Northeastern Catholic District School Board would like to congratulate Colleen Landers, long serving Trustee of the Board, for receiving the John Jenkins Award.
Each year, the Canadian Standard Association of Canada (CSA) honours members whose contributions and commitment are especially noteworthy. The John Jenkins Award is the highest award that can be achieved and the nominee must have previously received the Award of Merit. One such award is presented each year to a recipient who has been critical to helping CSA create a better, safer, and more sustainable world.
NCDSB Trustee Colleen Landers received the 2022 John Jenkins Award in recognition of exceptional leadership, outstanding commitment to education, and significant contributions to the development of standards for medical device reprocessing in healthcare. Colleen was honoured by her peers at the CSA AGM on June 13, 2023 in Halifax and is very proud and humbled to have won this award.
