At the Organizational Board meeting on November 20, 2023, Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) Trustees elected Maria Felix Miller of Ward 3 as Chair of the Board, and Paul Tut of Ward 13 as Vice-Chair of the Board.
"I am humbled and honoured to be selected as Chair of the Board of Trustees as we enter the second year of this current term," said Chair Maria Felix Miller. "I'm very proud of the work Trustees have done this past year to bring the Multi-Year Strategic Plan to life. Our next step as a Board will be receiving student feedback and translating that into action. I look forward leading this process over the next year as we work to find the best ways to serve HWDSB students and families."
"I am grateful for this opportunity to serve as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees," said Vice-Chair Paul Tut. "As Vice-Chair, I remain committed to supporting students and families in a collaborative and inclusive manner to provide our students with all the opportunities and successes we can. "

- Chair of Policy Committee - Todd White, Wards 5 & 10
- Chair of Program Committee - Amanda Fehrman, Wards 11 & 12
- Chair of Governance Committee - Todd White, Wards 5 & 10
- Chair of Finance and Facilities Committee - Paul Tut, Ward13
- Chair of the Human Resources Committee - Dawn Danko, Ward 7
