GPPSD Students and Staff Collaborate Winning National Communications Awards

Grande Prairie Public School Division is proud to announce its receipt of two prestigious Bravo! Awards for the video projects "Rise of the Phoenix" and "The Academy Grande Prairie" at the 2023 BRAVO! Awards given out by the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education (CACE).

The videos showcase a timelapse video of the build of the new Grande Prairie Composite High School and the success students are achieving in The Academy Grande Prairie, a Program of Choice in our division. Watch them on our YouTube channel: Grande Prairie Public School Division - YouTube

The awards recognize the exceptional creativity and impact of visual storytelling in education, showcasing the collective talent and dedication within GPPSD. You can watch the videos on the division's YouTube channel.

GPPSD Board appreciates the opportunity to tell the division's story. "Our success in these projects reflects the strong community spirit and shared dedication to excellence in our school division," says Joan Nellis, Board Chair of GPPSD. The CACE BRAVO! Awards are the only Canada-wide awards program specifically designed to recognize excellence in school board communications. The awards celebrate outstanding work in all aspects of school public relations, communications, marketing, and engagement.
