The Inclusive Education Department will still include the same group of specialists who work with classroom teachers and families to set and monitor the interventions, goals and strategies put in place to help your child succeed at school.
However, the department also includes mental health, supports for food insecurity, social-emotional learning, sexual health, and the oversight of our inreach/outreach team. The new name also reflects these other areas of work done by the department.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our director of learning support services, Brenna Ewing.
