Bluewater District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Low to the position of Superintendent of Business Services and Treasurer, effective January 15, 2024.
Andrew has served in Bluewater District School Board for the past five and a half years, most recently as Manager of Financial Services. His previous experience extends to the municipal and private sectors, including roles in public accounting and as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor's degree majoring in Economics, he has maintained a solid track record of financial management and accountability in his various positions.
An Owen Sound resident with his wife and two sons, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, and is often found on the sidelines coaching and/or supporting both boys in hockey, soccer, and lacrosse.
The appointment follows the recent departure of Rob Cummings. As Superintendent of Business Services and Treasurer since 2014, Rob's steadfast leadership and expertise have been instrumental in guiding the board to an enviable position of long-term fiscal strength.
